วันที่ 25 พ.ค. 67 โมฮาเหม็ด ซาลาห์ แนวรุกทีมชาติอียิปต์ของ “หงส์แดง” ลิเวอร์พูล สร้างความฮือฮา เมื่อจัดการโพสต์รูปตัวเองโฉมใหม่ ตัดผมทรงแอฟโฟรที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ทิ้งไป เหลือเพียงผมนิดๆ ด้านบน จนเกือบจะโล้น ลงในอินสตาแกรมที่มีผู้ติดตามมากกว่า 63 ล้านคน
ทั้งนี้ โพสต์ดังกล่าวมีคนเข้ามากดชื่นชอบมากกว่า 1,000,000 ไลค์ และคอมเมนต์กันทะลุ 20,000 คอมเมนต์ไปแล้ว โดยหลายคนเชื่อกันว่าการที่ซาลาห์ตัดสินใจตัดผมแบบนี้ ก็เพื่อเป็นการต้อนรับเจ้านายคนใหม่อย่าง อาร์เน สล็อต ผู้จัดการทีมคนใหม่ของลิเวอร์พูล ที่หัวโล้นเป็นเอกลักษณ์นั่นเอง
สำหรับ ซาลาห์ กำลังจะหมดสัญญากับ ลิเวอร์พูล ในเดือนมิถุนายนปี 2025 ท่ามกลางกระแสข่าวได้รับความสนใจจากสโมสรในลีกซาอุดีอาระเบียที่พร้อมทุ่มเงินกระชากตัวไปร่วมทีมในช่วงซัมเมอร์นี้ แต่จากโพสต์ล่าสุดดูเหมือนว่าเขาจะยังคงค้าแข้งในถิ่นแอนฟิลด์ต่อไป
