A tweet was shared by TWLEGION mentioning how Woods is not expected to play any holes on Wednesday. The 48-year-old’s best finish this year came at the 2024 Masters Tournament. He had placed himself at T60 on Sunday after successfully making the cut after Friday. The golfer, meanwhile, missed the cut at the other two majors and pulled out of the Genesis Invitational due to an illness. Although Tiger Woods had expressed his desire to play one event per month, he couldn’t do so after withdrawing from the Genesis Invitational in February. Since then, the athlete has only made a total of three starts, all of which came at the majors. This is a stark contrast to Scottie Scheffler or Rory McIlroy, both of whom have made 15 and 14 starts, respectively.
