SYNOPSIS:In 1987, teenager Kristen Parker dreams of Freddy Krueger chasing her. She’s admitted to a psychiatric hospital for seeming suicidal. Dr. Neil Gordon cares for her, while Nancy Thompson befriends her. Other patients include Phillip, a sleepwalker; Kincaid, a violent tough kid; Jennifer, a hopeful actress with burn marks; Will, in a wheelchair from a suicide attempt; Taryn, a recovering addict; and Joey, a traumatized child. Freddy attacks them in dreams, killing some.Nancy reveals they’re the last Elm Street kids, offspring of those who burned Freddy. They try group hypnosis to find their dream powers. Freddy captures Joey in a dream, leaving him comatose. A nun reveals Freddy’s origin: he’s the result of horrific abuse.
