Conor McGregor is not overly keen on seeing Tyson Fury rematch Oleksandr Usyk.
‘The Gypsy King’ was hurt badly and dropped en route to his split decision defeat to the new undisputed WBA, WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight champion.

At the end of the fight, the scorecards read 115-112 and 114-113 in Usyk’s favour while the third judge gave it to Fury at 114-113 as he fell to defeat for the first time.
However, McGregor thought the scrap was one-sided in Usyk’s favour.
The former dual-weight UFC champion would prefer to see Fury fight Anthony Joshua next but understands his desire to try to get the first loss of his career back.
“A mad hiding! What next, who knows,” McGregor wrote about the fight on Instagram.
“Usyk is incredible. He has beat both soundly. Whatever moves towards Tyson AJ I am for.
“If Fury wishes to go a second try at the wheel, AJ had two attempts so why not. Tall ask. Not impossible also. If not, AJ Usyk III last hoorah, and then win lose or draw go Tyson AJ”.
“What a time to be alive thank you to the fighting gods and to God.”
Fury thought he did enough to win and insisted he would be triggering the rematch clause in his contract before taking on Usyk again in October.

“I believe I won that fight – I believe he won a few of the rounds but I won the majority of them,” he said in the ring post-fight.
“What can you do? It’s one of the decisions in boxing. We both put on a good fight. Best we could do…
“I’ll be back, I’ve got a rematch clause. We go back. Have a little rest up, spend some time with my family and we go again in October.”
Anthony Joshua, who was sitting in the front row alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, will be a fan of McGregor’s idea that he goes straight in against Fury or Usyk next.

Currently, there are other plans for the former two-time world champion.
Usyk’s contract dictates that he must vacate the IBF belt ahead of overdue mandatory challenger Filip Hrgovic’s bout with Daniel Dubois on June 1.
Joshua is expected to face the winner in a world title fight at Wembley Stadium in September, but if a clash with Fury or Usyk becomes available, plans are likely to change.
Only time will tell if McGregor and all the other boxing fans calling for it will ever get to see Fury face off with Joshua in the biggest British fight of all time.
