Both Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and San Antonio Spurs youngster Victor Wembanyama entered the NBA with a ton of hype. Both also won Rookie of the Year awards, but the similarities are unlikely to just end there for the two. Wembanyama has the potential to become an NBA champion and a Most Valuable Player, just like LeBron.
LeBron James to the San Antonio Spurs?

If a team wants to get LeBron’s attention in the summer, they can start by taking his oldest son in the 2024 NBA Draft. Bronny James isn’t projected to be selected in the first round and the Spurs are unlikely to use either of their lottery picks on him. But with a second-round pick, the Spurs could find themselves with a chance to take Bronny off the board, if still available.
Pairing LeBron and Victor Wembanyama for one season under the leadership of Hall of Fame coach Gregg Popovich would be incredibly fun to watch. LeBron has played for Popovich on Team USA, and Bronny learning the NBA game from Popovich while playing alongside Wembanyama is not a bad scenario for either player. The Spurs have two lottery picks and will likely target a top-projected playmaker, but they also have the 35th pick and will have plenty of options with it.

It is important to note as well that LeBron has a player option for the 2024-25 NBA season worth $51.4 million. He has until June 29 to decide on it, which is days after the 2024 NBA Draft.
