Karen was combing her daughter’s long hair, as she did a few times a week when her cell phone abruptly rang without stopping. BEEP! She had received a notification.
Karen lowered the brush for a moment to read the message that had arrived. At the time, it was a message like many others she had received, so nothing seemed unusual.
What was the message?
When she realized the message was from the crib buyer, she asked her daughter to wait while she read it. This did not appear to be any ordinary message.
Maybe there was something wrong with the purchase, she reasoned. It was normal; buying used items is not always as expected. She unlocked her phone, opened the message, and began to read.
