Scarlett Johansson looked flawless as she walked the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday after getting over a nasty bug.

The 35-year-old actress had been nominated for two awards at the star-studded event but almost didn’t make it after being “violently ill” on Friday night.

Wearing a stunning teal satin dress by Armani, Scarlett looked to be on the mend as she attended the SAG awards with her fiancé Colin Jost.

Scarlett was up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her work in Marriage Story, and Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for Jojo Rabbit.

“It’s incredibly humbling, I’ve never been to the SAG awards before so I’m just taking this all in,” Scarlett said when asked about her nominations from the red carpet.

Looking radiant, Scarlett was all smiles as she told Access Hollywood that she was very comfortable with her weekend look.

“I’m actually very comfortable in this dress, it’s like the first comfortable dress I’ve worn in a long time, so thanks Armani.”

She faced stiff competition for her nominated awards however and lost out to Laura Dern and Renée Zellweger for the two nominations.

She touchingly held her young co-star’s hand as they all took the mic and spoke about the satirical movie.

“Set in war-time Berlin, the next nominee for cast in a motion picture is an anti-hate satire that shows us the absurd brutality of Fascism,” Scarlett announced.

“The film tells the story of a ten year old boy whose beliefs are challenged by his own growing life experience,” Roman continued.

“It’s a tragedy, comedy… it’s a coming of age story and it’s a warning,” Director Taika concluded, before a clip of the movie was shown.Scarlett has a supporting role in the new film Jojo Rabbit. Just 48 hours earlier, Scarlett was forced to cancel an appearance at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival because she was “violently ill”.

The Lost In Translation star was meant to accept an award for her lead role in Marriage Story, but instead asked the director to read a note to the crowd at Friday’s event.

“I am so saddened that I cannot be here with you this evening, ” Roger Durling read on her behalf.
