8. GETTING FLIRTY WITH HIS FRIENDS
Keep your attention on him if you’re interested in him. Flirting with his friends will undoubtedly get you noticed, but for all the wrong reasons. Nobody wants to play the “I’ll flirt with other guys to make the guy I like jealous” game. You will, if anything, lose the respect of everyone at the table. The guys won’t think you’re girlfriend material, and the girls will think you’re only interested in their boyfriends.
9. BEING A SOCIAL MEDIA CREEP
When you like a guy and follow him on social media, there’s no reason to like every single Tweet or Instagram comment they post. And you should not be liking photos he posted 7 years ago. He’ll quickly wonder what’s the deal.
10. OVERUSING EMOJIS
If you’re going to use emojis, use them wisely. Choose your moments wisely, and please refrain from decorating every message with kissy faces, hearts, and fluffy animals. It makes you appear naive and desperate. Falling in love may make you feel like a naive adolescent again, but that doesn’t mean your messages have to reflect this.
