Angelina Jolie’s youngest daughter supports her mother

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, 15 years old, followed Angelina Jolie to the promotion of a new musical produced by mother and daughter, watching her mother’s interview from afar.

According to ET on May 13, Angelina Jolie, 49, was present at the morning show Today Show to introduce the musical The Outsiders. This is a project she produced with the help of her youngest daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt as a volunteer assistant. When the star was interviewed, Vivienne stood in the crowd, watching her mother chat with the host.

The MC asked about Vivienne’s connection to the project and why her daughter convinced Jolie to produce the musical. The star replied: “The play is about family, about community. That’s also why she wanted me by her side to watch the work, and we all hugged each other when I appeared here.”

She said that the script of The Outsiders does not separate from the dark side of life, details that make mother and child discuss with many emotions. “But in the end we overcame it, thanks to family love,” Jolie said.

It’s not the first time Vivienee followed her mother to a promotional event for The Outsiders. She and Angelina Jolie appeared together on the play’s opening night in April.

Angelina Jolie revealed that Vivienne was the one who informed her that the play received 12 Tony nominations – an award for the Broadway stage, one of the four biggest art awards in America besides Oscar, Grammy and Emmy. “At that time, I just woke up and saw Vivienne sitting on the bed. She said she loved the troupe, was proud of her work and admired all her collaborators,” the star added.

Vivienne convinced her mother to meet author S.E Hinton, 75 years old , who wrote the novel The Outsiders at age 16.

People said Vivienne leads a private life, studying at home with her siblings and tutors.

Since her parents divorced in 2016, she has lived in Los Angeles under the guardianship and upbringing of Angelina Jolie according to a court decision, because she is not yet 18 years old. Brad Pitt still has visitation rights to his children.
