How to perfume the whole house with 2 bay leaves

Feeling comfortable in our homes is very important to enjoy good physical and mental health. If in the place where we live there is no comfort, cleanliness, order and, why not, a good smell , the quality of our life decreases.

There are many reasons why our home can have an unpleasant odor. Not to mention the houses that spend a lot of time closed, such as those by the sea, whose classic musty smell can last for days.

Luckily, it is not necessary to resort to commercial air fresheners (which are loaded with chemicals, among other things) to eliminate bad odors and perfume the whole house: just a few natural ingredients such as bay leaves are enough .

Below we explain how to use bay leaves to perfume the whole house and have an aroma that lasts for days.

Burn the bay leaves . The quickest and most practical way to fill the whole house with a very pleasant aroma is to burn a couple of bay leaves.

Putting the method into practice is very simple: just put a couple of bay leaves in a saucer, burn and spread the smoke throughout the house. Be very careful not to burn yourself or items around the house.

Natural deodorant . Cook 2 large bay leaves in half a liter of water for 15 minutes. Let it cool, then add 2 drops of mint essential oil and two more of lemon essential oil.

Pour everything into a bottle equipped with a spray diffuser and spray throughout the house. You can replace the essential oils with other aromas of your choice.

Laurel has an aroma that is not only pleasant, but is effective in neutralizing bad odors . Choose one of the two methods described above to deodorize and perfume your home for hours .
