Rehab Time Paying Off For Angels Star As He Signs Autographs For Kids at His Son’s Little League Game

Mike Trout seems to have found the perfect way to spend his injury rehab. While the Los Angeles Angels continue to flounder, the superstar has decided to sit on the sidelines of some other team. The Angels fans don’t need to worry about any threat as Trout is now spending more time with his son’s Little League team. That has made the experience special for every parent and their kid during these games.

Trout’s niceness hasn’t ever been hidden from anyone. King Fish’s infectious positivity and outgoing nature have always won the hearts of his fans. But now, the superstar has found one more way to become even more beloved by baseball lovers. A post on X revealed the highly special gesture that Mike Trout just did for the young kids.

Trout was spotted in his son Beckham’s Little League game. Naturally, it sent the parents into a frenzy. However, the superstar remained quite patient. More importantly, Trout signed autographs for a bunch of kids. This extremely rare occurrence certainly made their day as they couldn’t help but say “Mike Trout is awesome!”

Trout is out for at least a month due to his meniscus surgery. Though the star tries to motivate his team from the dugout, the Halos haven’t been able to remain competitive since his absence. So, it isn’t surprising that the Angels star is trying to spend this time having a little quality time with his family. Beckham surely will not mind seeing his legendary father cheering for him.

But that brings an important question – how much time is left for Trout’s recovery? More importantly, can this surgery help him stay fitter from here onward?

Mike Trout’s fitness is still a huge question mark

In his interview with MLB.com, Trout revealed that he had been given the option to continue playing. The Millville Meteor could’ve played the DH role and avoided surgery till the end of the season. However, the superstar was in a lot of pain and that led to him going for the surgery immediately. So now with him out for at least 4-6 weeks, one hopes that he’d be back with complete fitness.

However, the core issue remains the heavy workload the star still takes on. A DH role might be highly suitable for him but then he desires to remain in defense. Can his body bear the increasing pressures? As of now, the answer seems to be a hard no. But then stranger things have happened in baseball. Whatever the case, the Los Angeles Angels would love for their superstar to return as soon as possible.
